I have just released the first version of node-red-contrib-socketcan to the public. This module makes it very easy to send and receive CAN messages in node-red.
Later this week a first version of node-red-contrib-vscp will be released that among other things have functionality to translate VSCP events to/from CAN frames. Upcoming is also node-red-contrib-canal that interface the VSCP CANAL interface and give the same simple CAN BUS handling on Windows as well.
Also this week the node-red-contrib-vscp-tcp will be release that makes it easy to send and receive events to/from a VSCP based host (hardware) or software interfaces like the VSCP daemon (and now the third party uvscpd) that export the VSCP tcp/ip link interface.
