Working on a new VSCP release #vscp #iot #m2m

start | VSCP Specification

Hell there is a lot to do with a new releaseĀ  before things go out through the door… šŸ˜‰

..but also a lot of new features and functionality of course.Ā  Well I think it even works on Windows now… yes really works.Ā  It has for some month of course, but not in release form.

One new thing is the simulation driver another the 1wire driver. But there is some more new things for sure, but we tell about them later. OK?

So just don’t go to sleep yet. Let us change the world first.

ps Replace “Hell” above with a beep if you are sensitive to bad language. ds

New VSCP Level II driver

Hi,

I have added a new Level II driver for 1-Wire that takes advantage of the 1-wire kernel support availableĀ  from Linux kernel v2.6.29+. Works both with direct gpio as on Raspberry Pi and with other masters on full blown Linux systems.

Documentation is here http://www.vscp.org/docs/vscpd/doku.php?id=level2_driver_wire1

Enjoy!

New VSCP firmware framework available

Hi all,

the first release (v0.1.0) of a new VSCP framework is provided now here: https://github.com/BlueAndi/vscp-framework/releases

More information and how to use it, you can find here: https://github.com/BlueAndi/vscp-framework
At the moment two examples exists, one for the pc (windows and linux) and one for the at90can.

The checked in project has a interim state at the moment and as fast as my hardware is ready, will hopefully get a productive state.

Any feedback is welcome! Any found bug too

Best regards
Andreas
