If you are a brave person please test the new deb packages for the VSCP server. More of them will follow. Please note that this is not<\/strong> release code. They are for test only.<\/p>\n

There are three files for each binary<\/p>\n

vscpd_12.29.2-20_amd64.deb<\/strong> for 64-bit base machines
\nvscpd_12.29.2-20_i386.deb<\/strong> for 32-bit\u00a0 based machines
\nvscpd_12.29.2-20_armhf.deb<\/strong> for Raspberry Pi and the like<\/p>\n

you find the files here<\/a> under 12.29…\u00a0 \u00a0Use wget for example\u00a0 to get them.<\/p>\n

Installation process is<\/p>\n

sudo dpkg -i vscpd_12.29.2_20…….<\/strong><\/p>\n

On a machine without wxWidgets installed it will complain about that, can be other dependencies also that fail. To fix that issue<\/p>\n

sudo apt-get install -f<\/strong><\/p>\n

which will download and install the dependencies.<\/p>\n

Remove the installed package with<\/p>\n

sudo dpkg -r vscpd<\/strong><\/p>\n

Report problems on the VSCP list<\/a> or\u00a0 on Github<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I will try to set up a package repository later. Expect problems. But it currently at least appears to works on the machines I have here.<\/p>\n
