If you want to add stronger pull-ups (the PIC&#8217;s internal pullups are too weak to be used on physical -long- wire), there&#8217;s a component from &#8220;the old days&#8221; that can help you out: SIL resistor arrays.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mouser.be\/ProductDetail\/Bourns\/4610X-101-102LF\/?qs=Yn6%252bBELvhqsuyIaggOGa%252bw%3d%3d\">http:\/\/www.mouser.be\/ProductDetail\/Bourns\/4610X-101-102LF\/?qs=Yn6%252bBELvhqsuyIaggOGa%252bw%3d%3d<\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Picture attached shows the resistor array in place.
